An opportunity to explore the present and future of the biohealth industry all in one place is coming up. Hosted by the City of Busan and co-organized by BEXCO, Busan Technopark, and the Busan Ilbo, “Healthcare Week 2026” will be held for three days, from the 3rd to the 5th of next month, in Hall 3 of Exhibition Hall 1 at BEXCO in Busan.
Now in its sixth year, the Healthcare Week Expo is South Korea’s leading integrated healthcare and wellness business platform that proactively addresses the country’s transition into a super-aged society by converging the welfare, rehabilitation, Age-Tech, anti-aging, and K-Beauty industries. At this year’s event, approximately 160 domestic and international companies will set up around 400 exhibition booths, and more than 50 global buyers are expected to attend to conduct substantive business consultations.
Four Core Exhibition Categories, Including Smart Healthcare
Healthcare Week is an integrated event that brings together three key exhibitions: the International Welfare, Rehabilitation, and Senior Expo; the Busan International Anti-Aging Expo; and the Busan Cosmetics and Beauty Festival. In addition, the smart healthcare sector has been added this year.
In the welfare and rehabilitation sector, exhibitors specializing in age-friendly products, assistive devices, rehabilitation medical equipment, physical therapy equipment, nursing and long-term care, retirement planning, and senior finance will participate.
The anti-aging sector will feature exhibitors from the fields of biotechnology research, anti-aging, hair care, and therapies, while the cosmetics and beauty sector will showcase skin care, derma-cosmetics, and functional cosmetics.
The smart healthcare sector will feature companies leading smart city medical and care infrastructure initiatives and data pilot projects. Products related to digital health, age-tech, exercise and fitness, and sleep and stress management will also be showcased.
A large number of global innovative companies, including CES award winners, are participating
At this expo, innovative startups recognized for their technological capabilities in the global market and leading digital healthcare companies will come together to present a vision for the future of healthcare.
Pitbro, winner of the CES 2025 Innovation Award, and UMED, winner of the CES 2026 Innovation Award, will unveil the “Aikris,” a wearable electronic drug based on trigeminal nerve stimulation, and the “UroRinse™ Light,” the world’s first automated bladder irrigation medical device, respectively.
Megabridge will showcase its AI-based integrated healthcare platform compliant with the FHIR international standard, as well as its technology for building a medical MyData system, while ZeroWeb will introduce “CareBell,” an AI care platform designed to provide location-based senior life care and prevent lonely deaths.
Witchbox will demonstrate “iPOSTURE PRO/ME,” an AI-based body composition and posture analysis center OS, while SY Inotech will showcase “BTCARE,” a VR-based cognitive rehabilitation and dementia prevention training platform.
Core Movement will offer visitors the chance to experience “EMSSPA,” a premium wellness spa based on underwater EMS electrical stimulation, while Ribbon Korea will unveil a B2B export platform for K-healthcare targeting Mongolia and CIS countries, as well as its AI-powered cerebrovascular analysis solution, “ANRISK.” Tanus Care plans to showcase the “QuanFoam Hip Support,” a hip brace made from a new shock-absorbing material.
Regional hub hospitals, major universities, and local government promotion agencies will also participate in large numbers to share R&D achievements in digital healthcare and the bio- and life sciences industries. To build an ecosystem connecting industry, academia, research institutes, and hospitals, participants include Pusan National University Hospital, Busan Medical Center, Namugneul, the Gimhae Bio-Life Industry Promotion Agency, the Seongnam Senior Industry Innovation Center, Sejong Technopark, the Kyungsung University RISE Project Team, the Dong-Eui University College of Bio-Health Innovation and Convergence Project Team, the Pusan Catholic University Anchor Project Team, Pusan National University Technology Holdings, and the Inje University Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation.
