BTB Ventures announced that by successfully completing the 2025 program, participating companies achieved KRW 1.65 billion in total investment raised and KRW 3.4 billion in revenue, generating significant outcomes for the regional startup ecosystem.
The Gyeongnam-style Startup Accelerating Support Program was designed to intensively nurture startups in Gyeongnam Province’s strategic industries and promising future advanced technology sectors. Hosted by Gyeongnam Province and organized by the Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, the program was operated by BTB Ventures, a technology startup-focused accelerator, to support the growth and global expansion of regional startups.
BTB Ventures nurtured 10 promising startups selected through a competitive process with a 4.2:1 acceptance ratio. The participating startups included five early-stage companies—GODTECH Inc., Dadadak Healthcare Inc., SR Inc., EcoPrime Inc., and Haebacam Inc.—and five growth-stage companies—Greenbacks Inc., Seoru Inc., Swasher Inc., UMED Inc., and Twinwiz Inc.
The selected companies participated in an acceleration program spanning seven months from May, including: • Business diagnostics • Mentoring and consulting • Business capability enhancement training • IR training • Global expansion support. BTB Ventures directly invested 300 million won (150 million won in Dada Dak Healthcare, 150 million won in GodTech) and facilitated follow-on investments to help secure substantial funding.
As a result, the program achieved major outcomes across multiple areas, including KRW 3.4 billion in revenue, 32 new hires, KRW 1.65 billion in investment raised, selection for 46 government-supported projects (approximately KRW 6.5 billion), and the acquisition of 38 intellectual property rights.
Global achievements were particularly notable. In October, BTB Ventures operated a Global Expansion Program in Singapore with five participating companies. Through hands-on activities such as IR pitching to global investors, exhibition participation, and visits to local institutions, startups enhanced their understanding of overseas markets and validated their global expansion potential. In addition to participating in international exhibitions such as SWITCH, the companies expanded their collaboration networks by visiting deep-tech venture builder ATUM Ventures, A*STAR and its affiliate BTI, the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Infineon Technologies. Notably, UMED won the CES 2026 Innovation Award, while Haebacam signed an MOU with a Vietnamese company, opening new export channels.
In terms of investment performance, Dadadak Healthcare secured KRW 1 billion in seed funding just 18 months after founding, demonstrating its innovation potential. GODTECH and Twinwiz also successfully raised Pre-A and Bridge-A investments, respectively.
CEO Jin Tae-jun stated, “Through this program, promising regional startups have proven their competitiveness in the global market,” adding, “We will continue to provide practical investment and incubation support so that the Gyeongnam startup ecosystem can thrive and regional startups can grow into unicorn companies.”
