Ten Advanced-Industry Startups in Gyeongnam Gear Up for Global Expansion
UMED was selected for the 2025 Gyeongnam Startup Acceleration Support Program, recognizing its potential for global expansion.

Gyeongnam's promising high-tech startups, such as Gotech, Greenbacks, and TwinWiz, are getting their wings to go global.

Gyeongsangnam-do Province, the Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, and BTB Ventures have recently selected ten high-potential startups for the 2025 Gyeongnam Startup Acceleration Support Program, which aims to foster the global expansion of local startups in advanced industries.

The selected companies are:
Gattech (CEO Ki-Deok Park) – develops alloy materials and manufacturing processes for automated production and refurbishment of industrial precision parts.
Dadadoc Healthcare (CEO Kwang-Il Shin) – offers innovative pediatric telemedicine devices and healthcare services.

SR (CEO Hae-Sung Jung) – possesses lithium extraction and lithium carbonate recovery technology from waste batteries.
EcoPrime (CEO Hyun-Hee Jang) – develops pet health products using a novel compound "indolokine" to reduce stress and prevent skin disease.

Hebacam (CEO Dong-Hyuk Yoon) – created an outdoor insect trap using attractants and UV LED technology.
GreenVax (CEO Sera Moon) – developed an inactivated vaccine platform based on natural green tea-derived compound EGCG.

Seoreu (CEO Yeon-Ju Lee) – provides an AI-assisted capsule endoscopy reading system.
Swosher (CEO Seon-Eon Lee) – invented a water-based air purification technology that replaces disposable filters.

UMED (CEO Myung-Chan Park) – operates a full-cycle AI-powered urology healthcare platform.
Twinwiz (CEO Chang-Soo Kim) – a spin-off from the Korea Institute of Materials Science, producing liquid additives with antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal effects.

BTB Ventures, the operating partner for the program, is recognized as a professional accelerator with an extensive global network across the U.S., Europe, and Singapore, capable of guiding Gyeongnam startups to global expansion and scaling.
